INTRODUCTION
Ruihaibo Medical Rehabilitation Center is a specialty hospital providing unique medical rehabilitation services. It is the first of its kind established in the Jiangsu province and nearby regions in Mainland China. The hospital is registered under the Jaingsu Province Association of Rehabilitation Medicine (JARM), and approved by the Nanjing Medical & Health Bureau and Bureau of Social Welfare, as a ¡®not for profit¡¯ service organization.
The hospital¡¯s administration and management is led by Dr. Ruiyan (S.Y) Lee, previously the hospital chief executive and rehabilitation consultant physician of the Margaret Trench & the MacLehose Medical Rehabilitation Centers in Hong Kong, as the medical director; Professor Jianan Li, the vice chairman cum secretary general of Chinese Association of Rehabilitation Medicine, as the deputy medical director cum head of clinical services; and Professor Shifan Zhou, one of the pioneers in modern rehabilitation medicine development in Mainland China, as the senior visiting consultant and advisor. This powerful team of professional experts ensures the quality and standard of rehabilitation services delivered in this rehabilitation center.
80 beds are opened for service with full facilities for rehabilitation management of spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, cerebral palsies, neurological diseases, and various types of musculo-skeletal disorders encountering functional disabilities which cannot be solved by the earlier medical treatments the clients had received.
Assisting our client¡¯s achievement ¡°For Quality of Living¡± is our missionary goal. Our Center offered a model of client centered service, aimed for their satisfaction in the course of rehabilitation treatments in an environment with a home-like feeling.
